The King County Fair has a rich and storied history that dates back to 1863 when it was founded during the presidency of Abraham Lincoln. This venerable institution began as a simple celebration of agriculture and was originally situated in the Georgetown area south of Seattle. Over the years, it has undergone several significant relocations, with stops in Renton around 1900 and then eventually finding its current home in Enumclaw after World War II. Throughout its long history, the King County Fair has remained true to its roots as an authentic county fair. The fairgrounds provide a picturesque setting surrounded by farms and nestled in the shadow of the majestic Mt. Rainier, adding to its unique charm. In 2015, the fairgrounds came under the management of the Enumclaw Expo & Event Association, a non-profit organization. Despite this change in ownership, the historic name of the King County Fair has been preserved. The fairgrounds also feature several historic buildings originally constructed for the 1962 World’s Fair, including the Field House, which is recognized as a King County Historic Landmark.

I worked a booth here for the 2023 king county fair and I would come back again next year for leisure. I really enjoyed watching the motorcycle show and the dog show they had going every few hours, it made my days working in the sun more fun. In my breaks I had a lot of fun looking at the animals as well. It isn't a five star form as it's just not a particularly big fair, even by county fair standards but it was still nice.

Attended the, Gun Show last weekend. Very small at this location. And, lots of open space inside the building. At least the parking was free. But, admission should be also. Puyallup is a lil larger, with more variety and booths. Gonna look for an even larger venue.

Nice experience with the grandkids. GET YOUR RIDE TICKETS ONLINE ahead of time. Only two lines and they were long as hell. Also, bring water. Food if fun but quite expensive. Water prices were high. Rides and kid activities are fun. All in all, fun times. Will go back.

Very disappointing. Have to pay for everything even kids riding their bikes on a small ramp had to pay $10. We were their for less than 1.5 hours. Bought a strawberry lemonade that was $8 and absolutely horrible. Best part was watching the mutton busting, and the firing off ammunition @pirates. It tells you something when people that work there won't eat the food there they go to Charlie's Restaurant to pick up food. Never going again......such a disappointment

Water stations are desperately needed!!! Great rides and events, and I'm impressed by the 4H kids' work. Food was insanely expensive, except for the 4H stand. Overall we had a great time but came home dehydrated and overheated.

More rides this year, cool. You get an extra star. However, food took a serious nosedive over years past. I went to three vendors and I got food that was already sitting under a heat lamp at each, it was too early to even be busy or crowded so no excuses. Who wants a crunchy dry scone or a deep fried oreo and corndog barely warm...forget fresh and yummy...I mean barely warm and sitting for long enough to lose that deep fried flavor explosion. Nothing worse than reheated fries...trust me, that translates to anything deep fried sitting under a heat lamp waiting to be bought. Why do you think fresh fries taste so damn yummy? If I want food pre--made and sitting under a headlamp I'll go to Mcdonalds. I get fair food is expensive...but at least attempt make it somewhat worth the $8 for 5 Oreos. I ate half of one and tossed the rest after my wife and 2 year old also refused to eat one.
